Missing man dead, was bank manager of State Bank of India
Hyderabad: The 53-year-old man, who was found murdered at Umer Colony in Pahadishareef on Sunday, has been identified as M. Brij Mohan, deputy manager (accounts) at the State Bank of India branch in Old Malakpet.
According to the Pahadishareef police, Mohan, a resident of East Maruthi Nagar in Champapet, had been missing since Saturday. On the day, he did not return home after work. His family members searched for him everywhere, but could not find him. A missing case was registered by the Chaderghat police. On Sunday, his body was found abandoned. He was attacked by unidentified persons with blunt weapons on the head resulting in instant death. His mouth and hands were tied by the murderers.
Cops are yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder. P. Venkateshwarlu, Pahadishareef inspector said, a murder case has been registered, it will be now transferred to the Chaderghat police station, where a missing case was earlier registered.
