The police had almost completed the investigation
BENGALURU: The police have almost completed the investigation into the sexual assault of a six-year-old girl by her teacher in the Cambridge School, Indiranagar.
On Monday, ACP Sara Fathima, who is in charge of the investigation, visited the school and recorded the statements of four woman teachers. A police team has been sent to Tamil Nadu to gather more information about the accused Jaishankar, as he hails from Tamil Nadu.
DCP (East) Sateesh Kumar said that the police had almost completed the investigation. “We have recorded the statements of the victim, her parents, accused, school management authorities and other witnesses. We will complete the probe in a day or two,” he added.
