As Joru awaits release, director Kumar Nagendra bets his money on comedy

Hyderabad: Director Kumar Nagendra is confident that his film Joru will be a hit. This is his second film as director and unlike the first film, Gundello Godari, Kumar Nagendra has mostly concentrated on entertainment this time.
Young actor Sundeep Kishan is playing the lead, while Rashi Khanna, Sushma Raj and Priya Banerjee are the female leads. “All of them have important roles in the film,” says Kumar Nagendra. The film, which has got an “A” certificate, is releasing this Friday.
This is also the first time that Sundeep Kishan is teaming up with top comedian Brahmanandam. “The scenes involving Brahmanandam are hilarious and it’s going to be the highlight of the film,” says the director.
