Adilabad: High Court judge and portfolio judge of Adilabad A. Ramlinges-wara Rao, on Saturday, said parents play a crucial role in building the character and personality of children. Parents should impart discipline among their children so that they become responsible citizens of the country, he said.
He was addressing a gathering at a workshop on ‘Juvenile Justice Act’ held here under the joint aegis of the District Legal Services Authority and an NGO, 'MARI'. The judge said parents should inculcate human values and good habits among their wards to make the country a better place to live in.
He said police should be accountable with regard to the implementation of the Act.
Earlier, High Court Judge Ramlingeswara Rao inaugurated a video conference room on the premises of the district court and also a guesthouse in Adilabad town for the personnel of the judiciary.
