Terrorists on Telangana’s list hide in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia

Red corner notices have been issued against the suspects

Hyderabad: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have become safe havens for terror suspects from Hyderabad and Karnataka. The state anti-terror agencies’ list of wanted terror absconders include 22 persons who are now suspected to be hiding in these two countries.

The suspects are linked to Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, Indian Mujahideen and Jaish-e-Mohammed, against whom red corner notices are issued by the Interpol.

According to sources in the Telangana State Intelligence Department, the accused are wanted in the case of twin bomb blasts at Gokul Chaat and Lumbini Park, as well as the Gujarat conspiracy and Ganesh templeattack conspiracy cases.

“Of the 22, eight are believed to be holed up in Pakistan and 11 in Saudi Arabia. One of them is in Dubai and others in the Philippines,” revealed an official.

Police suspect that Chota Sajid, alias Mohammed Sajid, is hiding in the Philippines. One Najiullah, alias Najji, is believed to have been sent to India by the LeT. NIA has also issued a second request to Interpol regarding Shahed Bilal’s brother, Mohammed Majeed, seeking his whereabouts. Far-hatullah Ghori, another suspect, is an accused in a conspiracy to eliminate BJP leaders. Mohammed Asadullah Khan is an accused in the Bengaluru conspiracy case. Dr Sabeel Ahmed and Mohammed Faisal, who are linked to the Bengaluru module, are also in the list.
