Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday party has always been one of the most talked-about affairs of Bollywood. But his close friends Kajol, Priyanka Chopra and Karan Johar were conspicuous by their absence, observed guests and the media stationed outside Mannat.
Hrithik Roshan was the star of the evening. According to eyewitnesses, Hrithik set the dance floor afire with popular tracks from Bang Bang and SRK’s films.
Earlier in the day, Hrithik and Susanne had officially signed their divorce papers. “It’s not like no one was aware of the development in their divorce case. Everyone knew about the status, but it was his happy-go-lucky attitude that baffled everyone at the party. He even shook a leg with Varun Dhawan,” says an eyewitness.
SRK’s idea of clubbing his birthday party with the success party of Happy New Year was a double celebration. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Karisma Kapoor, Chunky Pandey, Boman Irani, Sajid Khan, Hrithik, Varun, Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor, Mika Singh, the cast and the entire crew of Happy New Year made their presence felt.
