Hyderabad: Chief Minister Naidu has obtained a diplomatic passport from the regional passport office in Secunderabad on Friday. Mr Naidu wanted a diplomatic passport before his visit to Japan, Singapore and some other SE Asian countries for studying models for Andhra’s new capital.
Regional passport officer Ashwini Sattaru and deputy passport officer Madan Kumar Reddy completed all the formalities and handed over te passport to him in just 10-20 minutes. AP minister K. Narayana also visited the passport office and submitted an application for a diplomatic passport.
Learning that Mr Naidu was present at the passport office, a large number of TD workers gathered in front of the passport office. Mr Naidu halted his convoy and talked to TD supporters.
