Boyapati Srinu, who gave two blockbusters to Balakrishna Simha and Legend is all set to direct Balakrishna’s 100th film, according to a close source. Currently shooting is on for Balakrishna’s 98th film.
The film is being directed by Satya Dev and has Trisha playing the female lead. Balakrishna will start his 99th film as soon as this one gets over.
According to a source, director B. Gopal will direct the 99th film which will commence around Sankranti with a release planned for Dasara next year. The actor is keen on completing his 100th film also next year.
Balakrishna wants Boyapati to direct his 100th film. “Both share a good rapport which started with Simha, and Balakrishna wants the winning combination to continue.
So he has told Boyapati to keep a script ready for his 100th film,” says a source. Once the film is underway, Balakrishna’s son will also make a big entry into films. Sources say that S.S. Rajamouli may direct Balakrishna's son’s debut film.
