Nellore: State Information Commissioner L. Thanthiya Kumari expressed surprise over lack of knowledge on Right to Information Act among some officials implementing the act.
During a review with the officials here on Wednesday, she stressed the need to provide information to the petitioners within the fixed time frame. She told the officials to preserve all the records while reminding that they are responsible for their protection.
Among others Intermediate regional director DRK Paramahamsa was also present during the review.
