Hyderabad: Students at the University of Hyderabad met at an independent fact-finding committee regarding the death of Mustafa, an 11-year-old boy who was allegedly set on fire by two Army jawans.
The students held a protest on the campus. They have been questioning the Special Investigation Team’s inquiry process. The students also want to know exactly how long it will take the SIT to solve the case.
The fact-finding committee said that several cases of molestation of children by the Army officials had been reported.
“We had organised a silent protest at the main canteen on the campus. Students came out with banners and shouted slogans. The members of the fact-finding team said that they had received various complaints of children being molested by Army officials,” said a student.
