Salman Khan and the cast of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' put their brooms to work.
Mumbai: When Prime Minister Narendra Modi nominated nine celebs including Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kamal Haasan and other television actors for the Swacch Bharat, many felt that it was a take off from ALS Ice Bucket challenge.
But Salman Khan is not merely a man of words, the actor rolled up his pants and took a broom to clean Karjat where he was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. In this exclusive footage posted by Salman's fan club, we can see an enthusiatic Salman who has rolled up his pants, accompanied by the rest of the cast and crew of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. What's interesting is, that not only did the actor clean the roads and bylanes of Karjat, he also lent a fresh coat of paint to several houses. Salman clearly took the campaign to another level by transforming the village he visited.
Clearly impressed with his efforts, the Prime Minister also went on to tweet about the actor's 'significant' endeavour:
