TNGOs plan Delhi trip for staff split
Division of All India service officers like IAS, IPS, and IFS remains undecided even 5 months
Hyderabad: The TNGOs stepped up pressure on the Centre to take immediate steps to divide the government employees.
The division of All India service officers like IAS, IPS, and IFS remains undecided even five months after the formation of the new states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, as a result of which employees are at loggerheads.
Irked by the delay, the TNGOs gave an ultimatum to the Centre on Tuesday to take immediate steps to divide the employees among the two states or the organisation would undertake “Chalo Delhi” protest march in the third week of November.
“It’s five months since the two new states have been formed. Yet, there is no sight of division of employees. The Centre is creating a situation which will force us to undertake another movement,” said TNGOs president Deviprasad.
Deviprasad alleged that the Centre was dragging its feet over dividing the employees which has created a problem for Telangana employees as well as the State.
Complimenting TRS government for various pro-employees welfare measures, he said the government should also take immediate steps to establish the Telangana State Public Service Commission. TNGOs thanked Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for issuing cashless health cards.
