K Chandrasekhar Rao accuses N Chandrababu Naidu of troubling Telangana through Union ministers

KCR accused Chandrababu Naidu for creating problems for his government

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao accused his AP counterpart N. Chandrababu Naidu of creating problems for his government through Union ministers and secretaries.

“He talks to Union ministers and secretaries directly and through them gives directions to our government. He organises write-ups in two newspapers, tries to criticise me on everything.

He also says that I lack foresight, but the Telangana government has purchased Rs 400 crore worth power only in October to save crops, no state in the country has spent that much on power purchases in a month,” he continued.

Meanwhile, quoting a report in Deccan Chronicle’s Sunday edition, regarding the government’s decision to effect transfers of employees and officials that might trigger political corruption, the Governor reportedly asked Mr Rao for his reaction.

The Chief Minister replied, “There will be nothing of that sort, I will take care to see that there is no political corruption. Transfer of officials has become absolutely necessary in view of the Election Commission taking up fresh revision of voters, I cannot effect transfers once the process is on.

Before the revision I wanted to complete this, but the same paper wrote a few days ago that my government was not indulging or encouraging political corruption.”, I will continue to concentrate on prevention of corrupt activities.”
