Stalwarts of Indian cinema would be invited for unveiling ceremony of Dr Rajkumar's memorial

Bengaluru: Mark this date on your calendar: November 29. Exactly 32 days from now, almost all the superstars of Indian Cinema are expected to descend on Bengaluru. Big B — Amitabh Bachchan, Superstar Rajnikanth, Kollywood superstar Kamal Haasan, Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi, Mollywood stars Mammootty and Mohanlal and veteran actress B. Saroja Devi have been invited for the inauguration of the memorial for matinee idol Rajkumar on the premises of Kanteerava Studio.
Dr Rajkumar Pratisthana, comprising writers, bureaucrats, and members from the actor’s family who were supervising the progress of the work, said that stalwarts of Indian cinema would be invited to attend the unveiling ceremony of matinee idol Dr Rajkumar's memorial here on November 29, developed at a cost of Rs7 crore. It includes a 800-seater open-air auditorium, a three-ft tall bronze bust of the thespian, and an exhibition of 40 photographs from select movies of ‘Annavru.’
