Tinsel town is abuzz with reports that Trisha who was supposed to do an item number with Rajinikanth has agreed to star in one alongside Sudheep in a Kannada flick! One may recall the actress’ recent debut film Power in Kannada which was a remake of Telugu hit Dookudu received great response and Trisha is in much demand there.
According to sources, the actress was the first choice for yet another T’town blockbuster Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi’s remake in Kannada as Ranna. But due to reasons unknown, the two heroines cast in the movie, who take Samantha and Pranitha’s roles from the original are Rachita Ram and Hari Priya.
Now, a source tells us that the makers want Trisha to do the item number which Mumtaz did in the original. Trisha’s mother Uma though, says, “Leave alone the special song; no one even approached us for any role in the said Kannada film!”
