Mumbai: Loud whispers in the industry indicate that Karisma Kapoor has broken up with her boyfriend Sandeep Toshniwal.
Of late, the actress has been consciously keeping a low profile to keep her personal life out of scrutiny.
Last weekend, she was spotted at a suburban eatery having dinner with her mother and her two children.
Sources close to the actress have confirmed Karisma’s currently single status.
Not very long ago, her sister Kareena Kapoor had revealed that her sister is in a happy place and hence unlikely to re-marry.
The news about the Lolo-Sandeep break up started doing the rounds when she was spotted making solo appearances at many events.
Despite not being clicked together, Sandeep and Karisma made headlines when they spent their respective birthdays and other festivals together.
“The rumours about the rift gained steam at the high profile Diwali parties in the industry. The reason for the break-up is best known to them. They haven’t been meeting or spending time together since September. During Diwali, Lolo was seen with her mother, her children and a few close friends,” says our source.
Earlier in June, the industry was rife with rumours about an upcoming Sandeep-Karisma wedding.
Unfortunately, the rumours turned out to be, just rumors.
“Karisma is a very strong woman. She has been independent and an extremely responsible single parent. Companionship and friendship is one thing but getting married is a big commitment. I don’t think she would want to walk down that road again. Like her sister Kareena said, Karisma is in a happy place,” says a source close to her.
