New Delhi: Delhi Dynamos FC (DEL) put up a solid show and drubbed Chennaiyin FC (CHE) 4-1 to seal their first win in the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
Here is how the action unfolded.
1: GOAL! Cracker of a goal from Wim Raymaekers to put Delhi Dynamos in lead. The home team won a corner and Del Piero wasted no time in passing the ball towards Shouvik Ghosh. He made sure that unmarked Raymakers got a ball and then the Belgian hit a screamer

The Chennai defenders first cleared the ball but not safe enough to keep Delhi team away. Steve Dias then hit a wonderful cross and then Mads Junker launched himself into a flying header to better Delhi Dynamos’ lead.
37: Chennaiyin FC continued their attempt to net their first goal. But more than the effort their frustration seemed visible with Bruno Pelissari shooting one from 25-yards out.

52: Although they did not score this time around, the home team continued to threaten Chennaiyin FC.
68: GOAL! Elano scored to keep alive Chennaiyin FC’s hopes with a wonderful goal. The Brazilian netted from 25-yard away free-kick.

79: PENALTY and GOAL! Chennaiyin FC’s Khabra’s brought down Shylo and the referee awarded Delhi a penalty. Bruno did not waste the opportunity to better Delhi's lead.
90+3: GOAL number four for Delhi Dynamos. The home team seemed to be scoring for fun while Chennaiyin FC continued to look clueless. Gustavo added one of his own to Delhi’s series of brilliant goals tonight. He outran the Chennai defence to net home team’s fourth goal
