Isha Talwar marked her debuted in Malayalam with a romantic film, Thatthin Mariyathu, in which she was paired opposite Nivin Pauly. Now, after nearly two years, she is all set to complete shooting for the Tamil remake of this Malayalam blockbuster in which she pairs opposite a newcomer.

“Initially, I thought that I would not be able to learn much if I worked in my own remake as the job would be monotonous. But I was wrong. Though the storyline is the same in Tamil, many scenes have been added to suit Tamil audiences as the original version is slower paced, more like an art film,” says Isha.

“Even the background score of the film is different and new. I learnt something new from my old film,” she says. Her love interest in the film, a debutant, was extremely talented and great to work with, according to her. She has 10 days of shooting left, and the movie is expected to release by early next year.

Isha is also going through a few scripts in Tamil and getting offers from Telugu and Kannada too. Though she was, as a model, cast in a music video with Hrithik Roshan, she has no plans to sign a B’town film.

“I don’t plan anything in my life. This two-year journey in cinema has taught me a great deal. All these years, I planned nothing and will continue to do so,” she says.
