Ebola.com, a website that gives out information, facts and frequently asked questions about the Ebola virus, has reportedly been sold to a Russian-registered firm for a price of around $200,000.
Ebola is a disease that has already infected more than 10,000 people worldwide and killed nearly 5,000 people.
The owners of Ebola.com are cashing in on the virus outbreak and have sold the domain, including stocks. These types of domains gain high interests after news events.
The buyer is a Russian-registered firm called Weed Growth Fund, previously known as Ovation Research.
Ebola.com was owned by Nevada-based Blue String Ventures, and they are an internet real estate investment and branding company.
