Here’s a glimpse of the new Microsoft Nokia smartphones

Microsoft has announced that it will finally cut off the Nokia branding on all forthcoming Windows handsets. However, it will keep the Lumia name as usual.

Microsoft, on their Nokia blog, mentioned “In the coming weeks and months, you’ll start seeing even more brand experience come to life across different channels as we transition from Nokia Lumia to Microsoft Lumia.”

They have started the transition from Nokia Lumia to Microsoft Lumia. The last couple of months have already seen some apps being renamed to Microsoft. Lumia is now part of a compelling family of Microsoft products like Xbox, Windows and Surface along with a range of services such as Skype, Office and Bing.

Microsoft Lumia smartphones will now feature their name on all forthcoming handsets. Check out the branding logos on the devices.
