Expert slams AIIMS board on Sunanda Pushkar death
According to AIIMS report she was died of poisoining
Thiruvananthapuram: Forensic expert P Chandra Sekharan has rebutted the three-member AIIMS board theory on the mysterious poisoning’ death of Ms Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Shashi Tharoor, saying 30-odd laboratories in the country are well-equipped to determine the precise toxic components that may or may not have proved fatal.
In a detailed letter to Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, Dr Sekharan, who was the principal scientific investigator in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, said it was unethical for the AIIMS Board to attach a list of poisons and to say that they cannot be detected in Indian labs.
