Police to seek forensic test in Jawahar School case
Police have not yet received any other evidence for the allegation
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a bid to solve the mystery over the complaint that a six-year-old boy was locked up in a kennel at a school here, the police will seek the services of forensic experts.
According to police sources, the dress worn by the student on the said day would be subjected to forensic test. Though the dress might have been washed after the incident, in case the boy entered the kennel and the dress rubbed against any walls of the kennel, some remains of it might have been left on the shirt. It could be extracted only by a forensic test.
“Any such marks could be a supporting evidence for the allegation that the boy was put in the kennel. However, in case the forensic tests could not extract any such marks, we won't totally rule out the allegations,” said police sources.
The police have not yet received any other evidence for the allegation that the child was locked up in the kennel. The authorities of the Jawahar English medium school had also denied the allegations and even approached the High Court seeking a CBI probe.
