Salman Khan does a clean sweep
Mumbai: Salman Khan was among one of the nine people Prime Minister Narendra Modi nominated for the “Clean India” campaign. The actor accepted his invitation and has agreed to work for a cleaner India. Narendra Modi had started a chain by also nominating actors Priyanka Chopra and Kamal Haasan, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and industrialist Anil Ambani.
This is not the first time Salman has been a part of such an initiative — he has actively taken interest in social work with his own trust Being Human.
Salman, who has a massive online presence, took to Twitter to post few pictures saying, “I started with Karjat yesterday. Yeh dekho photos”. He added, “First, I nominate my fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter. Each one of us can make a difference.” He also nominated Aamir Khan, Azim Premji, Chanda Kochhar, Omar Abdullah, Pradeep Dhoot, Rajat Sharma and Rajinikanth to take it forward.
