Karan Kundra's journey from TV to the cricket pitch
Mumbai: The upcoming season of Box Cricket League will see TV actors battling it out on the pitch.
A few days before the series begins, actor Karan Kundra who will be representing Kolkata Baabu Moshayes (KBM) tells us he can’t wait for it to start.
“When people are shooting for 12 hours every day and coming for a two-hour practice, it’s got to mean something!,” he says.
Although he admits that he doesn’t watch much cricket on television. “I am not a TV person. The last series that I watched was the World Cup.”
So, what made him join KBM? “Producer and owner of KBM Nivedita (Basu) has been a part of my career from the very beginning. So when she approached me to be part of the team, I just couldn’t say no.”
We ask Karan how he manages to make time for anything else in an industry that is so stressful in terms of time and commitments.
“Practice hasn’t begun in full swing yet. But then it’s also so recreational that you don’t realise that you’re missing out on sleep,” he says.
