Wearing Beats headphones cost this man $10,000
Denver: The American football star Colin Kaepernick had to shell out $10,000 after the National Football League fined him for wearing Beats headphones during his press conference on October 14. The organisers of the football league took the step as Bose, Beats’ rivals, are the official headphone sponsors of the event.
Colin Kaepernick had no other option but to use masking tape over the Beats logo on his headphones after $10,000 fine.

According to NFL's contract agreement with the headphone manufacturers, every player must use Bose headphones during the press conferences or when inside the stadiums.
However, Colin Kaepernick, who is paid to endorse Beats headphones, attended the press conference wearing his pink headphones. It is reported that he did so in his support to the breast cancer awareness month.
