Vijayawada: CM N. Chandrababu Naidu’s tour of Vijayawada has been finalised.
According to officials, the CM will reach Gannavaram at 7.25 am from Hyderabad.
He will participate in Police Commemoration Day programme at the Municipal Stadium. The Vijayawada police will brief the CM on the law and order situation in the city from 10 am to 11 am.
The CM will launch the ‘FIR at Doorstep’ vehicles at 11.5 am and also inaugurate state capital control room.
Meanwhile, the city police imposed traffic diversions on MG Road in view of the CM’s visit to IGMC stadium.
Vehicles passing through MG Road from police control room were asked to take alternative routes. Also, RTC buses heading towards Poranki were asked to take Route No. 5, via Gandhinagar.
Additional DGP Gautam Swang supervised arrangements at the stadium.
