Mumbai: Ajay Devgn fans have been duly presented with a pre-Diwali gift. The release date of the promo for Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer 'Action Jackson' directed by Prabhudheva has been preponed October 22. Prabhu Deva took to twitter to annouce the same:

The trailer which will be attached to the Shah Rukh Khan's 'Happy New Year' was scheduled to be released on Diwali. The release date of the film had been shuffled many times causing much anguish amongst fans. 'Action Jackson' was initially set to release in June, but the release date was pushed to November 7. Now Eros Entertainment has decided to delay the release date by a month and the action thriller is slated for Decemeber 5 release.
After revealing Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha's look from the film, Prabhudheva's 'Action Jackson' team has also unveiled the poster logo for the film.
Interestingly, Sail Ali Khan's 'Happy Ending' was scheduled to release on Decemeber 5, but the makers preponed its release to November 21. The change in the release date of 'Action Jackson' was planned so that the movie gets screen space without any competition.
Aamir Khan is also set to release the trailer of his film 'PK' on October 23. With Aamir Khan's 'PK' promotions pretty much tailing SRK's 'Happy New Year' and now Ajay Devgn's 'Action Jackson' too coming into the picture, it will be interesting to see how the audiences react to this three way fight
