Hyderabad: Sunny Leone is making her Telugu debut with the film Current Theega which has Manchu Manoj and Rakul Preet Singh as the lead pair, and is being produced by his brother Manchu Vishnu. Sunny Leone is playing a teacher in this action-comedy directed by G. Nageswara Reddy.
Sunny Leone’s presence in the film has lent it a curiosity factor. Even though she does not have a big role in the film, she is being paid a bomb! Manchu Manoj revealed details about Sunny’s remuneration in a reality show on Saturday night. He said that they paid Rs 75 lakh for Sunny Leone for this film.
On her first day at the film’s shooting, Sunny surprised the whole unit with her humble and polite behaviour and punctual arrival. Her husband accompanied her to the shooting in Hyderabad. The film will release on October 31. Manchu Manoj is currently in Vizag helping the cyclone victims.
