Salony Luthra's deep sea obsession
Chennai: Salony has proved her acting talent can act in her very debut film Sarabham itself, which garnered decent reviews. Now, she’s living it up, in a manner of speaking.
The young actress had completed a scuba diving course at Ko Samui, Thailand. It was one of the happiest times in her life, she says. “It’s a completely different world,” she adds.
“I have wanted to try scuba diving for the past five years, as I have been into swimming and other water sports from my school days. For me being in the sea is more like meditation.”
Talking about her underwater experience in Thailand, she says, “I initially planned to do the course at the beginning of this year itself. But I missed it as I got busy with the shoot of Sarabham. After its release, I immediately left for Thailand to pursue my dream.
It was like heaven inside the sea as one can’t hear any sound the outside world. It was just the fishes and I. I would recommend everyone to do this at least once a month as it’s a great stress buster.”
