Medicos continue protest
Medicos are also abstaining from emergency services in the hospitals
Hyderabad: The junior doctors in government hospitals took out a candle-light march on Thursday evening to protest rural service, and demand permanent jobs. However, these medicos are of the batch that is going to pass out in 2015-16.
Dr P. Srinivas, the director of health and medical services, revealed that 561 super specialists have already joined rural service/government service since Oct. 15, taking up various posts in the government hospitals.
Dr Srinivas added, “The case is sub-judice and we are waiting for government orders.” Medicos are also abstaining from emergency services in the hospitals and the services are now being manned by senior doctors from private hospitals.
