Ranbir Kapoor gives a nod to play Sanjay Dutt in a biopic by Rajkumar Hirani

Mumbai: Raj Kumar Hirani, who has made the successful 'Munnabhai' series with Sanjay Dutt is planning to make a biopic on Sanjay Dutt's life. Sanjay, who has lived a roller coaster life, from court cases to dating beautiful women, took the final decision before leaving for jail.

Sanjay Dutt and Manyata wanted Ranbir Kapoor to play the role and the actor has reportedly given his nod for the project.

Ranbir Kapoor has loved the idea and has also agreed to do the film. Raj Kumar Hirani is currently busy with Aamir Khan starrer 'P.K' and will start working on this one after its release.

In fact, RK too is a die hard fan of the actor and till a couple of years back, he would work out with Sanjay Dutt in his gym. Sanjay Dutt's brother in law, Kumar Gaurav will also be associated with the project which will go on floors next year.
