Indian tennis sensation, along with father, cleans Hyderabad road

Hyderabad: Tennis star Sania Mirza on Thursday joined the Swachh Bharat campaign, cleaning a city road before nominating nine persons, from sports and Bollywood, to join the movement.
Sania, along with her father Imran, was nominated by industrialist Anil Ambani. Both of them picked up brooms and cleaned one of the roads here.
The Asian Games gold medallist later posted a video of her effort on her Twitter page.
"This is our way of trying to contribute, hope this will follow. We have to keep the movement going, so I would like nominate nine persons," she said in her video message.
She nominated fellow tennis star Somdev Devvarman, squash player Dipika Pallikal, teen badminton sensation PV Sindhu, former India shooter Abhinav Bindra, actors Shah Rukh Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Charan, director Sajid Khan and Telangana politician K T Rama Rao.
Swachh Bharat is a movement for cleanliness, launched by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Gandhi Jayanti.
