CAT seeks information on All India Services final lists

CAT on Wednesday pointed out how many final lists the Centre would bring out
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal on Wednesday pointed out how many final lists the Centre would bring out to distribute the existing officers of All India Services between AP and Telangana states.
A two-member bench comprising B. Venkateswara Rao (judicial) and Minnie Mathew was dealing with the petitions by senior IPS officers S.A. Huda and T.P. Das challenging provisional notification of cadre allotment for both the states.
When the counsel representing the Centre submitted that the Centre has finalised the tentative final list and it was uploaded in the website of the DoPT, the bench questioned the counsel if it was the third or the fourth list.
The counsel for the petitioners Mohammad Shafiquzzaman alleged that the Centre has erred in making the provisional allotment and both the states have erred in chosing their DGPs.
The bench adjourned the hearing to October 29.
