London: An Italian brewer has claimed that they have created a beer-flavored jam to combine the most important meal of the day with the nation's favourite tipple.
Birra Spalmabile, the ale-flavored jam-like creation, which comes in two flavours - dark or blonde beer, costs around 5 pounds, the Daily Star reported.
Claudio Lorenzini, the owner of the brewery, said that they believe that they have found the right formula with the use of high-quality products and for them this is the future.
The company's website describes the breakfast snack as an ingenious collaboration between an Italian chocolate maker and an Italian beer brewer, the result is a sweet and beer-perfumed jelly with a delicate blond ale flavour.
