Cotton growers in the state were left in the lurch due to the drastic fall in cotton prices
Khammam: YSR Congress Telangana state president and MP P. Srinivasa Reddy on Tuesday said that cotton growers in the state were left in the lurch due to the drastic fall in cotton prices.Addressing a bike rally on Tuesday organised to welcome him to the district after taking over the charge as party state president, Mr Srinivasa Reddy demanded that cotton be procured by Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) and the minimum support price be hiked to Rs 5,500 per quintal from the Rs4080 at present.
