Hyderabad: In yet another incident of vindictive man taking revenge on his ex-girl friend, a 27-year-old man allegedly pushed his girlfriend from the third floor of a building at Chilkalguda on Tuesday evening.
The victim has been rushed to the hospital. The attacker, Mohammed Sajid, a carpenter, assaulted the victim as he suspected that she fell in love with another person.
The victim, Roopa, 21, was celebrating her birthday in her house when the accused attacked her. Police has arrested Sajid. The incident occurred in the evening as he came to attend her birthday party.
“They went to the terrace as he wanted to give her a cake. There was no one else there. Hence, we suspect that he must have pushed her,” said North Zone DCP R. Jaya Lakshmi.
Hearing the victim’s scream, locals and family members gathered at the place. They caught Sajid and handed him over to the police after roughing him up and he was arrested.
