Hyderabad: The wife and kid of Reliance Communication senior manager who went missing from their house at Musheerabad were found dead on a railway track at Ghatkesar on Monday night.
Police is investigating if V. Swapna, 24, wife of Mr V. Shyamprasad, had jumped in front of a running train along with her 20-month-old daughter Ishanvi. However, the police is yet to ascertain the reasons for her suicide. No suicide note has been found so far.
Police said that Swapna, a BTech graduate, had gone missing from their house in Gandhinagar at around 11.30 pm. She had left her mobile phone at home, and her husband Mr Shyamprasad started searching for her.
“In the afternoon Mr Shyamprasad filed a complaint at the Musheerabad police station stating that his wife and kid were missing. We booked a missing case and started investigation.
Later the railway police told us that two bodies were found on the track and they were identified as the missing persons,” said Chikkadpally ACP Amarkant Reddy. Secunderabad railway police officials said that both the mother and child had serious injuries and their bodies were scattered on the track.
The cops have started investigating if Shyamprasad and Swapna had any problems in their relationship. Meanwhile, the Secunderabad Railway police has booked a suspicious death case and has started an investigation.
