KARIMNAGAR: Information technology minister K. Taraka Rama Rao said that one grievance cell would be set up in every mandal headquarters to address people's problems promptly.
He was sPeaking at the inaugural of a grievance cell, meant for Sircilla Assembly constituency, in Sircilla town on Monday.
Explaining the features of the grievance cell, Mr. Rama Rao said complaints lodged by public on various issues would be computerised and forwarded to concerned departments for speedy disposal. Status of a problem would be communicated to both the complainant and concerned official through SMS. Three officials would always be discharging duties in the cell. A complaint would be addressed within a week. Information pertaining to a complaint would be intimated to the complainant.
Steps are being taken to set up similar cells at every mandal headquarters in Telangana state.
