Countdown for navigation satellite launch begins
The launch is scheduled for 1.32 am on October 16
Nellore: The 67-hour long countdown for the launch of the PSLV-C26/IRNSS-1C Mission (a regional navigation satellite) commenced at 6.31 am at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Shar, Sriharikota on Monday. The launch is scheduled for 1.32 am on October 16.
According to sources at Shar, all the planned propellant filling operations pertaining to stage IV and stage I of the PSLV were completed on Monday. Scientists will check all the rocket parameters and proceed with the propellant-filling operation related to the second stage if everything is normal.
