Hyderabad: The release of the much-awaited Rs 180-crore film I, starring Vikram and Amy Jackson, is being postponed. The film was earlier scheduled for a Diwali-release.
One of the distributors who got rights for the Telugu version said, “The graphics are not yet done and it will take time to complete it. So, the film is not coming out this Diwali.”
The Tamil audio function was held recently with big fanfare with Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth in attendance. For the Telugu audio function, Jackie Chan’s participation had almost been confirmed, however, with this latest development, the Telugu audio function will be held after Diwali.
A teaser of the film was released recently and it got a record viewership of more than seven million views!
