Cyclone Huhud impact: Vizag ODI gone with the wind, costs India No. 1 spot in ICC rankings

Super cyclone Hudhud havoc has caused cancellation of third ODI
Hyderabad/Dubai: Super cyclone Hudhud, which has been playing havoc on the coastline of Andhra Pradesh, has thrown as a spanner in the works, forcing the cancellation of the third one-day international between India and the West Indies.
The match was scheduled to be held at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy ACA-VDA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Flights to Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry remained affected throughout Sunday and will remain un-operational at least till Monday, as per officials.
Announcing the cancellation, the Indian team’s media manager R.N. Baba said, “There is no match scheduled due to prevailing weather conditions. The players will remain in Delhi. We had a flight scheduled for Visakhapatnam tomorrow (on Monday) at 12:55 pm, but now it stands cancelled.”
The Indian cricket board on Monday confirmed the cancellation of the third India vs West Indies ODI.
