Smart cards for pregnant women

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked the officials to issue smart cards to nine lakh pregnant women in the state. Mr Naidu said all welfare schemes should reach the pregnant women of the state as well as the kids below one year. Reviewing the social sector on Saturday at the Secretariat, Mr Naidu said there is a need to improve the accountability in the fields of medical, health, women and child welfare.
