Locals noticed thick smoke and alerted fire department and cops

Hyderabad: Fire broke out at Srinivasa Traders located at Aziz Plaza in Begum Bazaar on Saturday. No casualties were reported.
The accident occurred when a load of crackers stored on the first floor of the multi-storey building caught fire.
Inspector P. Sattaiah said that the fire occurred due to a short circuit inside the building.
The fire spread to the inflammable material in the godown.
Locals who noticed thick smoke and fire alerted the fire department and cops. Two fire tenders rushed to the spot and put the fire out within an hour.
A case was registered and is being investigated. The property loss is suspected to be minimal.
