Online pornography 'encourages' sexual assaults by young men
Men up to the age of 25 were finding it troublesome to develop respectful relationships
London: A new statistics has revealed that online pornography is leading to more sexual assaults by young men in North South Wales (NSW), Australia.
According to NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Murdoch, men up to the age of 25 were finding it increasingly troublesome to develop respectful relationships and had become increasingly violent towards their sexual partners, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Court statistics showed the number of males aged between 10 and 29 convicted of sexual assault in NSW had almost doubled in the past five years, from 70 convictions in 2008 to 140 in 2013.
The figures are most disturbing in boys aged between 10 and 17, where 27 boys were convicted of sexual assault last year as compared to none in 2008.
