Sam takes on a whole new role, that of an actor in his debut film, Patra

Chennai: Sam Paul is famous in many respects, such as his trademark fashion events, turning a restaurateur with Jonah’s, and most recently, being a celebrity DJ at parties. But now Sam takes on a whole new role, that of an actor in his debut film, Patra.
“I was spotted on the film sets a couple of times and director Jayanthan, who was an assistant of Sundar.C, approached me to play the lead villain’s role in his project. I have had great fun working on it. I play a ruthless, money-minded person who manipulates and tricks young students into getting a taste of his lifestyle, and eventually, moulds them into gangsters,” says Sam.
Ask him about his look in the film and Sam laughs, “I was just asked to grow a beard for the character. As far as my ‘villainous’ look goes, I think it comes quite naturally!”
He has been approached for a few more interesting projects too.
