Mumbai: The once upon a time popular actress who took the industry by storm with her performance in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, is desperately looking for work.
Despite the accolades she has earned over the years, Chitrangada’s non-glamorous image has seemed to work against her. The word around town is that the actress has been lobbying for a couple of projects and item numbers.
With her mentor Sudhir Mishra who swore by her talent, opting for Aditi Rao Haydri over his protege for his next film based on Devdas, Chitrangada might have every reason to worry.
