Samsung Galaxy Note 4 falls prey to Bendgate
Bendgate does not apply only to iPhone 6, but most metal-framed smartphones
The recent outburst of Bendgate, the smartphone bending effect, was seen on the iPhone 6 after a few customers found that the handset tends to bend at certain spots.
However, Unbox Therapy, on request by its fans, tried out the Bendgate experiment on the Samsung Galaxy note 4.
The test proves that any smartphone, leave alone the iPhone 6 or the Galaxy Note 4, made of a metal chassis can bend and stay bent. Unlike most smartphones, that are made of plastic, can retain their shape after it bends, a metal chassis can remain bent after it has been put under pressure.
So, a Bendgate on an iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 should actually not be considered as a flaw.
