Shiv Sena keeps mum on Raj Thackeray tie-up offer
Mumbai: MNS chief Raj Thackeray on Thursday said that he was ready for a pre-poll alliance with Shiv Sena, but he did not get any response from Uddhav Thackeray.
He admitted both the cousins had spoken over the phone on the same evening that the BJP announced its decision to break its alliance with the Shiv Sena. However, there was no communication from Shiv Sena the next day, which was the second last day for filing nominations.
The MNS leader said that he was willing to discuss the possibility of making an alliance with Shiv Sena and is prepared from his side.
