Funds wil be used for developing Jodeghat village as a tourism centre
Rs25 crore has been granted for construction of a tribal museum, Komaram Bheem memorial
Adilabad: The state government has issued GO Ms. No. 87 on Thursday giving an administrative sanction for an amount of Rs25 crore towards construction of a tribal museum, Komaram Bheem memorial, for developing Jodeghat village in Kerameri mandal as a cultural hub of tribals and tourism centre under the Tribal Sub- plan ( TPS) funds provision of financial year 2014-15.
District collector M. Jagan Mohan was directed to submit the proposals taking the help of the commissioner of tribal welfare, Telangana. The collector thanked Chief Minister K. Chan-drasekhar Rao for issuing the GO immediately after promising about it at the tribal legend Komaram Bheems’ 74th death anniversary programme held in the remote village on October 8.
The remote village in Adilabad district witnessed a flurry of activity on Wednesday.
