MIM chief hopes Sena-BJP split will benefit his party

Hyderabad: The leaders of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen are confident of gaining entry into Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha through their maiden effort in Maharashtra Assembly polls.
The MIM has fielded 25 candidates including 13 candidates in Mumbai city in the Assembly elections of Maharashtra state scheduled to be held on Oct 15.
Party president Asaduddin Owaisi and party floor leader in Telangana Legislative Assembly Akabruddin Owaisi and all the MLAs of the party are vigorously campaigning in Maharashtra for the past three weeks.
The party leaders are hoping that they will surely bag a seat in Aurangabad city in which it is contesting on three seats and one seat in Parbani and at least three seats in Mumbai in this elections.
Party president Asaduddin Owaisi said that his party succeeded in bringing the Muslims and Dalits in Maharashtra on a common platform to give a tough fight against Shiva Sena as well as the Congress and NCP. He said “the split between the Shiva Sena and BJP will ensure party’s victory.
